Labtest.com Appoints Jerry Baker a Director
Midland Park, NJ.--(Healthcare)--June 21, 2001-Labtest.com, a
company that develops and hosts Internet-native application software
exclusively for the clinical lab industry announced today that Jerry Baker,
an executive with a broad range of experience in the laboratory
information technology field, has been appointed to its board of
directors.
Mr. Baker is currently President of Info-X, Inc., a healthcare IT coding and
compliance solutions vendor with over 500 clients in all 50 states and 5
countries. He has 15+years of leadership experience, including over a
decade in healthcare technology. His experience with Fortune 100
companies and start-up organizations include clinical, financial and
compliance applications.
Prior to joining Info-X, Mr. Baker led a global healthcare practice and
channel partner program for a publicly held $100 million IT consulting
firm on three continents. Mr. Baker also served as a Vice President for
Advanced Health Technologies Corporation (AHTC), leading strategic
sales efforts for national accounts. Earlier achievements include his
tenure as Vice President for Healthworks Alliance, Inc., where he was
responsible for the development and implementation of a national
marketing strategy for systems integration and network services
application developer. Mr. Baker has also held sales and operations
leadership positions with Baxter Healthcare, Int'l and First Data
Corporation. Prior to joining the private sector, Mr. Baker served as an
Officer in the US Marine Corps, achieving promotion to the rank of Captain.
