Lafina is the founding partner of Eurekadoc and is passionate about the future of education, helping others to identify their natural talents & accelerate their careers through personal and professional development. She gained her MBBS from King’s College London and also has an MSc in Brain & Mind Science (UCL) and an International Masters Diploma in Neurosciences (Sorbonne University, Paris). She has trained in paediatrics in London and has a particular interest in entrepreneurship after starting & running her own property investment business and a number of entrepreneurial projects. Lafina’s goal is to inspire & delight the medical community through Eurekadoc’s unique courses & diverse career resources and she is regularly asked to speak at national and international events & conferences.
Aroon qualified from Imperial College Medical School, in London and later went on to study for an MBA at Imperial College Business School. He has a background in both Orthopaedic Surgery and Management Consulting for a Big Four firm. He also has a Masters in Education and is involved in a variety of projects. Aroon is passionate about inspiring people, adding value to people’s lives and believes that Eurekadoc can help you realise your potential and fulfill your dreams – live the life that you want to lead!
Hammad studied medicine at Imperial College, where he worked on award-winning research in patient-centered care. More recently, he has worked on projects focusing on novel technologies and innovation, including mobile app development and 3D printing. Currently, he is training in the North Central Thames deanery and is Eurekadoc’s Director of Publishing and Digital, developing solutions to help healthcare professionals diversify and broaden their horizons, both off and online.
Ahila is Eurekadoc’s Marketing Director. She studied Medicine at Barts and The London, has a BMedSci in Community Health Sciences and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She currently works as a GP in London, is a mother of two gorgeous boys and is an experienced fundraiser and event co-ordinator for charity events. She is a keen public speaker, a musician and is currently working on some exciting new projects. Ahila has a particular interest in public engagement, motivation and inspiration and is passionate about bringing out the best in people and thereby propelling them into career paths that they are excited about. She believes that Eurekadoc is the perfect platform to enable individuals to turn their current career into their dream career.
Saira studied Medicine at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and explored her love for the mind with a BSc in Neuroscience at the Blizard Institute. She trained as a medical doctor and has consistently developed her passion for working with young people in the voluntary sector to ‘think big.’ As Digital Content and Marketing Lead at Eurekadoc, Saira hopes to inspire doctors throughout the country to continually challenge their perspectives, develop self-awareness and expand their mind about the infinite possibilities available to them to diversify their career and life, by giving themselves the permission to dream big and build their own future.
Alisha studied medicine at University of Leeds as well as graduating from UCL with an MSc in Biology of Vision. She has volunteered for several years as a sports coach, has been a project manager for a number of events, from youth camps to conferences, she is also an empowerment speaker and a decorative baker! Her passion to have medics live powerful lives of their own design - to nurture skills and personal growth - inspires her to share Eurekadoc’s platform as the perfect place to begin your journey.
Following a BSc and MSc in medical engineering, Ahoora became interested in biomechanics and rehabilitation of those affected by mobility dysfunctional disorders, in particular, the role of vision in mediating gait and posture controls. The latter has lead towards his PhD.
He has diverse work experience in catering management, teaching, educating teachers and managing a jazz band. A people person and believer in the power of education, he finds the positive effect people exert on one another, can prove immeasurable. At Eurekadoc, he has discovered a lively platform as a team leader, and is determined to transfer positive, inspirational energy to people for the achievement of their goals.
Alan graduated from Imperial College Medical School with distinction in 2014 and also completed a BSc in neuroscience and mental health during his undergraduate degree. He is an orthopaedic surgeon, clinical lecturer and NHS Clinical Entrepreneur, based in Northwest London. Alan is passionate about education and innovation in healthcare and joined Eurekadoc in 2018, hoping to allow many others to forge their own path and realise their potential within or beyond their medical careers.
Zainab studied at Manchester Medical School and continued her training in the Greater Manchester area. During her foundation years, she discovered personal development, which helped her to realise strengths and rediscover hobbies, with writing being one of them. She helps with the blogging aspect of Eurekadoc to help inspire other doctors. Zainab is looking forward to help support and inspire our community.
